  • What kind of jobs do you offer?

    KeyStaff places people primarily in administrative/clerical and assembly/warehouse on a temporary or temp-to-perm basis, and focuses on all fields for direct hire positions. We specialize in finding qualified candidates for our clients.
  • How much do your positions pay?

    Most temporary warehouse positions start between $8 and $12/hr. Most administrative positions pay between $10-$15/hr. Direct Hire positions vary widely based on the standard market value for the position. A starting pay rate will most assuredly be based on your background and experience and the salary that the client company is willing to pay.
  • What is the average time span a temp job will last?

    Temporary jobs can range from several hours to a permanent career. The length of the assignment should be discussed before you accept the assignment. If you commit to an assignment for a designated period of time, make sure to honor that commitment or give at least a one week notice if you need to resign.
  • Is there potential to go permanent?

    Yes! Most companies these days are hiring through a staffing company so that they can find the talent and try employees before adding the new additions to the permanent payroll. More often then not, a temporary job can lead to something long-term or permanent.
  • What qualifications do you have to meet to work with KeyStaff?

    KeyStaff requires its employees to meet certain guidelines. Employees must have a working telephone and place to leave messages. Employees must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. And, employees must have the legal documentation to be eligible for work in the United States. Specific qualifications based on the job will apply as well.
  • If I finish one assignment with KeyStaff, will you immediately help me find another position?

    Based on work performance, KeyStaff will try to keep great employees working whether it is continuously at one job or going from one job to another. We truly want to help individuals find careers. And we hope that you can use your time with us as a stepping stone down the right career path for you!
  • What if I find another job during an assignment with KeyStaff?

    Just as with any other job, KeyStaff does require notice before terminating employment. We want you to be successful in your career path, and that begins with fulfilling your obligations to your current assignment. We require at least one week notice.
  • Can I refer my friends for employment?

    Absolutely! Please have your friends call the office at (512) 323-6055 to schedule an appointment.
  • Do you offer shift differentials?

    In some cases depending on the client. Each job comes with different pay rates which will be discussed at the time of the job offer.
  • How often will I be paid?

    KeyStaff pays every week on Fridays.
  • Do I collect vacation and holiday pay after a certain number of hours?

    KeyStaff does offer vacation and holiday pay after an employee works for a total of 2000 hours. This can be a combination of assignments or at one long-term assignment.
  • What holidays does KeyStaff recognize?

    Our six paid holidays are Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Forth of July, Labor Day and Memorial Day. After 2000 hours of KeyStaff service, employees will get these six paid days a year as long as they are on assignment with us during the week of the holiday.
  • Do you have Direct Deposit?

    Yes! We are pleased to announce that we do. We are also one of the few staffing companies that do that at no additional charge to our clients or employees.
  • Do I need a resume to apply with KeyStaff?

    Yes! We are looking for professional people to work at KeyStaff. It is important that everyone has a resume. Please look under "resume writing tips" on our website as an additional reference. A KeyStaff representative will be happy to help you with any specific questions you may have!
