Amy Stanley's involvement in human resources began in 2000 when, after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Government and Business, she accepted an entry-level job at a local staffing company in Austin, Texas. Despite the economic downturn in 2000, Amy managed to climb the corporate ladder to Direct Hire Subject Matter Expert. She won several performance awards including "Rookie of the Year" and multiple "Top Producer of the Quarter" awards.

In 2004, Amy partnered with Jason Stoneberg, a long time friend, and created KeyStaff, a company committed to servicing the community through providing qualified candidates to companies in industries including warehouse/light industrial, labor, adminstrative/clerical, and call center. In addition to the client services, Amy wanted to provide applicants with career counseling and guidance to help them find the right opportunities that would fit their skill set and fulfill their career goals.

Amy is involved in multiple philanthropic interests. In 2004, she co-founded Helping Austin, a fund raising organization to help local non-profits achieve their missions. Amy is also a member of the Northeast Austin Rotary club, a Meals-on-Wheels volunteer, and was awarded Big Sister of the Year from Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Texas in 2006.

Amy was born in Tallahassee, Florida in 1976. She moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas in 1997. She has lived in Paris and Lyon, France while pursuing her degree. Her interests include traveling, volunteering, and active involvement in her church.
