KeyStaff is cited on page 201 in the chapter Volunteer to Give More at Work, “much research has shown that Gen Y finds great meaning in volunteering time to socially responsible causes. Your company can align with our desire for corporate social responsibility by providing regular avenues for us to support various causes through our employer and, ideally, volunteer with our coworkers. KeyStaff, an employee placement service, closes its entire office for one day each quarter to do some type of community service project. In the last year, they walked dogs (and “scooped poop”) at their local animal shelter, volunteered at a nursing home, and even painted street curbs in an effort to improve their community. Not only do these quarterly service projects show KeyStaff’s employees that the company is committed to helping its local community, but people like me look forward to seeing what the company has chosen to do this quarter (and checking out the funny pictures from their last project, which are included in their e-newsletter).”

It was five years ago today that KeyStaff founders Amy Stanley and Jason Stoneberg created KeyStaff, Inc. With limited funds but a heavy passion for helping companies find the right employees and helping individuals find the right careers, KeyStaff was founded February 9th, 2004. Now, five years later, KeyStaff has established a strong name in the Austin community. The team has evolved from the two entrepreneurs to eight internal employees and almost 200 contingent employees reporting to work on any given day.

“It feels good to work for a winning team,” says KeyStaff team member Anthony Flores. “I’m looking forward to a future with a growing company where I can excel as part of something big in this city.”

KeyStaff would like to take the opportunity to thank all clients, contingent employees in the field, and internal staff. We know that it is only with your support that we have become successful. THANK YOU!
